Tyres Sizes

im looking for some advice on what Tyre sizes to go for.

there to go on a 7x13 wheel

my first thought is 185/60/13 at the front and 205/60/13 at the rear. my reasoning is that with the thinner front wheels will give let the car turn in better but possibly give me more under steer. this is against putting 205's all round?

I would like to know peoples thoughts, its for an Indy R, with a busa engine.

Thanks

You might consider going down a profile when putting wider tyres on. 205/55/13 will have a similar ride height to your 185/60/13.

yeah there is a 24mm size difference

then would you go 205/55/13 rears and 185/60/13 fronts?

oh the descisions

I think you'll find 205/55 13s a bit difficult to track down and certainly no good tyres are available in that size.

185/60 and 205/60 works well for everyone else!

As above, with a BEC you really dont need anything more than what you suggest. R888's etc are nice n sticky to get the power down. Narrower fronts should work well - allowing a little extra heat generation than a wider tyre and so give improved grip.
