Wanted
Hi All,
Has anyone got a copy of 'Racing & Sports Car Chassis Design' by Mike Costin & David Phipps that they would be looking to sell.
Thanks in advance - Chris

Thanks, but I have posted this request for a colleague and it's this book in particular he has asked for.

They come up on Ebay quite a lot - I got a copy (minus dust jacket mind you) for under £20 a couple of years ago. It's a very interesting read
in a historic type stylee and a nice thing to have but it is a rather old book now and IMHO I would say the information in it isn't really worth
£50 any more never mind the £100's the chancers on Amazon want for it........

It briefly appeared on a download a year or so ago which the copyright holders quite rightly got upset about and had it removed.
it has a lot of very good technical annalysis, but if you were planning to build a chassis I'd suggest it is no where near as useful as the
likes of Allan Staniforths race and Rally car source book (ah, the joys of the string computer), but it is very interesting if , like me, you are
interested in historic race cars.
There seems to be one copy which has been on Ebay for ever at but the price the guys asking is ridiculous. about £50-70 seems to be about the going
rate.
