Rivet Length

I'm just about to rivet the floor panel on my MK Indy but I was wondering what size rivets I should use?

Has anyone got a guide to what length rivets should be used with the thickness of the plates being joined?

I'm guessing the thickness is about 4-5mm? (2mm floor + sealant + chassis).

Cheers, Adam

large head diameter pop rivets. Aluminium and steel material.

Is there a website anywhere with a guide to this sort of thing?

I used 4.8x10mm large flange rivets, bit about how to fit the floor on my site in the May2004 section here http://www.dewweb.co.uk/indyblade/

Hope this helps,
Rich.
