things to look out 4

Ok this has probably been coverd a zillion times but im about to start making my chassis is there any things to look out for

im not a bad welder so ill be ok with that bit its all the rest of it

if you are not careful you get a 1 inch banana effect along the chassis from front to back

weld the floor intermittently in opposing diagonal places or the floor will bow and ping

the front suspesnion mounts in the book are positioned wrongly for the wishbones specified

After all, how many questions can there be to answer or ask about the cars!

Just relax, take your time... use the McSorley plans... measure twice, cut once... don't be afraid to grind away crappy welds...

Just about covers everything!

ahhh,, 18 months, the early days.....

Ive just been in the garage to have a quick look at how im gonna make my running boards and front wings..... shyte.

2 9 ft grp sections on the way methinks.

im looking to do the build in about 12 months so in about 5 years it could even be on the road

The really irritating thing is that I had the chassis done in about 5 days!! I thought another couple of month and I'll have it cracked
