R1 Clutch Replacement (different sized plate)

Hi,

hopefully my R1 2002-03 5PW clutch plates will arrive this week so im looking for a bit of info regarding fitment. As far as i am aware there are 7 normal friction plates and one different sized one. Ive had the normal frictions and steels on and off several times which im happy with but never tried to remove the different sized plate further behind the main pack which i think is behind the anti judder spring/clip. Any advice on removal and refitment of these bits?

Looking at this diagram (http://www.bikebandit.com/houseofmotorcycles/2002-yamaha-yzfr1p-yzf-r1/o/m9010#sch252991) have i got to remove nut(18) and washer (17) to gain access to these or just remove the clip (8) if so how?

Thanks for any help
Adam

The clip is just a bit of wire with a couple of bent ends which fit into small holes in the basket.
Just unhook the ends and the wire can be removed and then you can get the small plate and bevelled spring out.
