possible MOT fail due to no non slip on brake pedal

Hi all

i went to my local MOT centre to check my car fitted on their ramps.

the guy said my

whats your thoughts?

Any othernon friendly kit ccar pointers i need to check?car will fail due to no non slip surface on my brake pedal. i have not had a problem with this in the past.

It's a valid fail point

Put some skateboard tape on it, ebay will sort you out

Check Poundland too, a few months back they had some self adesive strips of skateboard style grip tape for £1 (funnily enough)

my mini originally failed on worn rubber on the brake pedal (amongst other small things) so unfortunately you can fail on it...

arh rubbish.

Supprised its never been picked up before. Its not listed on MOT check lists either.

Makes me wonder what else this new guy is going to pick up on.

I suppose this is the problem with getting a second hand kit car that has been MOT by a 'kit car friendly' bloke and now goes through the proper thing.

I can see troubles coming my way!!!!

i dont understand all this crap about kit car friendly mot garages. its a car take it to any mot station it will be tested as any other car and pass or fail. if it cant pass a normal mot its not fit for the road. its not exactly a hard test to pass an mot test.





Anything With Tits or Wheels Will cost you MONEY!!
