IVA Pass

Woohoo, IVA pass first time this morning at Nottingham.
Thanks very much to Martin at nottingham test station, what a top bloke.

Just got to sort out all my paperwork for DVLA now.

Thanks to everyone on here for the help and advise during my build.

yes i used dvla nottingham.asked if i had built it with old parts or new because if old and was going to be a q plate then after iva i would have had to get an mot and then get it inspected but as i had used all new parts except the engine that i had reconditioned to as new standard i didnt need it inspecting or an mot.all i needed was some reciepts and my iva pass certificate.was only there for about 10 mins and like the man said i would recieve docs back within 5 working days and today was the 5th day.good luck

Thats good mate, did you have to show them a 'certificate of newness' or just reciepts for the kit and all major components ?

All sorted, got my new '61' reg. on my MK today and been out for a blast.
Over the moon.

Is it normal for the DVLA to keep your IVA pass certificate ?
