locoblade donor car?
I was just wandering what would be a suitable donor car for the locoblade? Also which parts will be needed?

The price on the site is £500 for the chassis, I take it that's in kit form? I think independant will be abit too much for the budget. What will
be needed to fit a k-series engine? Rover hubs I take it?

No, you use the k-series engine with a Sierra type 9 gearbox and caterham bellhousing. You use the axle from a mk1/2 (rwd) escort and the front
uprights and hubs from a Ford cortina mk 3/4/5. You will need to make your own engine mounts.Jon, from his other post I think he means a Stuart Taylor
locoblade chassis with K-series engine.

in that case id'e go Mk chassis, sierra doner, use all the sierra bits except engine source or make engine/box adaptor, job done.

Note, this is different to the locost design (which the ST is) and the bodywork, wishbones etc. are not interchangable.
The other one to look at is the GTS de dion. It uses a full sierra donor although I think the driveshafts are shortened.
