I heard a tale of a rotrex busa radical doing 175mph , and the thing was still climbing.
The advert reads well, wouldn't fancy 212 in that mind.
Nice car.

it always annoys me when people say things like "capable of 500hp", so what is it right now!!! who cares what it's capable of, i
think most people are more interested in what it does right now!

Can't see anything wrong with ad meself. Turboed Busa engines have been capable of 500bhp+ for years. 212 mph is theoritical as ad says. Gearing
to 175 from 500bhp more than enough I'd have thought.

Given the spec you'd have to assume it has adjustable boost, in which case the knob might well go up to 500+ bhp while you'd only very
very rarely turn the wick up that high.
I remember the Menace, unusual drive arrangement with the very very short prop shaft, but never seen one on the road.

Only ever seen one and that was an R1 engined race car at BGH a couple of years ago. It had full carbon fiber body work but was in for a rebuild after
a crash.
The pistonheads one woud be mental. Proper widowmaker!

The seller is Mark Burley of MB Motorsports and he now also owns Quantum Sportscars (Extreme etc.)
I saw this car in the flesh at his old premises a year or two back and it is is mental.

I once saw an ad on Pistonheads for a 206 GTI. Black car, photos taken in the middle of the night at a distance that they could only get 3/4 of the
car in the frame. You could just about make out a reflection on the window to show that there was a car in the photo.
I saw the red Menace that Humbug posted in the Fisher workshop when Mark was developing it in 2004. It's the one that was shown in the
magazines. I seem to remember the passenger seat was a bit further forward than the driver's. It's a bit hard to tell from that photo.
