5" O/d Steel tube wanted

Hi Guys

Looking for a length of 5" diameter Mild steel tube 250mm long 3mm thick if possible but happy up to 5mm.

nothing I can find on fleebay is any use.

Are these for the hub carriers? I've just put the enquiry to my steel stockist as I need some but it won't be cheap as it's a non-stock item.

Nice looking bit of welding Mr Owelly! What are the "half a hole" cut outs on the bearing carrier mounting face for?

I'd like to give you a better reason for those cut-outs but its bacause I used a couple of pipe flanges...

I had a price on this today, 6m length of 5" o/d x 3mm = £113.00 excl VAT

Wouldn't be too bad if enough other people wanted some.

I have 4.5".....
It's steam pipe so the wall thickness is 5mm. Let me know if it's any good to you guys.
