SPA Design 255mm D-Shaped Suede Steering Wheel
With white stitching.
Drilled for an SPA Design QR boss (not included).
I scored the face of the steering wheel during a botched attempt at fitting / removing a QR. so I've covered it in 3M Di-Noc. I think it looks
better!
Not used, so suede is nice and fresh!
Cost £74.40 from SPA Design... £45 UK delivered from moi.
Only selling cos I stumbled across a 1980's F1 wheel and couldn't resist!

Is that an original and authentic 1980's F1 wheel?
Looks in great condition. If it is I bet it could tell some amazing stories if it could speak.
The steering wheel has so much emotion put into it and feedsback so much to the driver. Like a world cup winning football I guess.
Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!

Sadly it's never been fitted to an F1 car...
It's unused old stock from McLaren.

I was looking at that and wondering how it could have stories to tell and yet have no mounting holes in it...
Suppose they could use some kind of special epoxy resin to save weight?
