Roll cage tube size

Hi
Has anyone made a cage from 44.45mm o/d cds (1-3/4") opposed to the 45mm o/d as per the Blue book
All the suppliers I have spoken to only do the CDS in 44.45 (Merlin Motorsports checked theirs today and it is 44.45.
Spoke to RAC MSA tech and they have advised it should be 45mm o/d, but from where?

Paul

By the time its painted it will be 44.5 and if you round to 1 decimal place its 44.5
I think you'll find they'l be no issue, I very much doubt the MSA scrutineers will measure down to 0.5mm accuracy let alone 0.05
