part build or kit parts... 7 type cars...

Ok, I'm currently looking into 'factory' locost chassis..... I would like to base this on an mx5, as i really know these cars... And already own one for a donor.

But before i buy new, has anyone got a part build that they would like to sell? Or maybe a kit that you never started?

If its a part build, i don't mind what its based on so long as the main donor, parts are inculded...

If it's a kit, mx5 based would be better for me...

I'm located in oxford, but i will travel for the right kit...

Many thanks, stuart.

theres a guyon here selling a striker which is almost built and its cheap. strikers are one of the best handling 7 type cars and are nice and light. its currently fitted with a 1300 crossflow motor but comes with a zetec engine also.id take a seriously good look at this as you could never build a striker or any 7 to this stage for under £3k.
and welcome!

stick your location in your profile too mate. that way you may find help from local builders,or find a few local cars to look at for inspiration

Thanks, for your u2u's and replys chaps... I really should of said, budget to start will be around 2/2.5k But if i do a self build it will be more...

the plan is to build, and track it this summer. (as i will not be building the chassis, i should have it done in time) And then over next winter get it iva/road legal.

many thanks, stuart.
