EDIS rpm output?

Is there a rpm output on a EDIS unit? I want to test my rev counter to see if it's that or my megajolt that's not working(no rpm on taco) or can I put a multimeter on the taco signal wire to the gauge (I presume rpm signal is voltage pulses??) cheers Lewis.

Yes there is a tacho output on an edis,
although the connector is not on every plug.
It is on pin 11 in between the coil 1 and coil 2 wires.
I have added it to both of my edis installs,to drive the tacho.

Nice one thanks mate I'll bypass the megajolt and test the taco directly to see what's at fault,Lewis.

I found that the tacho output would not always drive a tacho , I found another option was to connect the tacho to the PIP signal line which seems to work reliably with most tachos that I tried and has no effect on the operation of the mega jolt.
