Race Suit Wanted.

Anyone got a FIA race/rally suit for sale. Planning on doing a few hillclimbs/sprints therefore I think I'm right in saying it do not have to be in date. I'm 5 feet 11 and have a 32 inch waist.
Cheers
Chris

Proban suits were withdrawn at the end of 2011. For sprints and hillclimbs I'm sure as long as they are FIA approved and in good condition then the date is not a issue. Same rule applies to seats and belts. For curcit racing and rallying this is not the case and everything must be in date.
So getting back to the original thread does anyone have a FIA race suit going spare that would fit someone 5 feet 11 and 32 inch waist and around 80kg.
Cheers
Chris

sorry but the guys are correct, you need an in date suit for sprinting as it will be checked at the same time as your car in the morning, plus the helmet.

blue book states.

Just checked on the Uphill racer forum with regards to race suits. Most of these guys compete in hillclimbs/sprints and according to them they say for the purposes for speed events in the UK they are not dated, the suit will need to be either the 1986 or 2000 FIA spec. Proban is no longer allowed.

I don't mean to hijack but I thought I had to say everyday really is a school day. I must have driven past that place everyday until I moved house two months ago and had no idea there was anything like that in town.
