Austen,
I think I have a spare of non-RS halfshafts but it has been modified with a machined aluminium spigot pressed into it to mimic the longer version on
the RS shafts. I know I have the shaft but not sure if it has the bit of aluminium!
We have used this method a few times now and it works very well. It also means the wheel runs more true than the usual wobbly english halfshafts!
Anyway, I'll have to call home later to see if you are interested

Cheers, I like the solution but would mean different each side. I already have a tranx and a standard RS, so wanted a standard to replace the tranx
aand carry tranx as a spare
