Go-Pro adhesive mounts

Afternoon all.

I've just picked up a Go-Pro Hero HD camera, and it has come with a number of small adhesive mounts that the camera is designed to clip into. The adhesive has 3M VHB written on it, so it sounds like good stuff. I was just wondering anyway, if anyone has trusted these for mounting the camera to a car bumper/plastic panel, or a painted metal panel? Secondly, are they easy to remove without damaging paintwork and plastic buympers etc?

Cheers
Andy

I would not mount anything in a simple adhesive mount, especially where vibration occurs.

3m vhb is the dogs danglies, make sure you clean both surfaces with some ispropyl alcohol. Its been holding the plate on my tin top for ages. We use it in work on aircraft interiors.
Do a test run with just the mount without the camera.
