exhaust cut out shield.

im looking to get a stainless/shiny piece of steel to cover the edge of the cut out in my bonnet around my exhaust
Any idea of a place that can do this for me ?

Most people working with sheet metal should be able to do this for you. The toughest thing is marking it out prcisely for them to make the cuts in the right place.

Will you be fitting the plate to the bodywork with a large margin around the pipes for movement or tight fitting it to the pipes independant of the bodywork ?

If you know what you want, and have access to cad then there is a chap on here who does water jet cutting of pretty much anything you want. Can't recall his name though, sorry.

I have emailed Andy drawings, with the measurements on, just done on plain paper. Never had to use CAD, and they arrived exactly as requested. HTH Ray

That's good to know for future then. I have Only ever asked for round or square items as they are clearly easier to setup. will try a drawing next time then.
