For Sale:- Pair of Bauer FX4 Roller Blades, size 7
Hi All,
First of all, sorry for the multiple "for sale" postings I've just done. I wasn't going to do more than one tonight (I have
loads of stuff that I need to sell sharpish!), and they are all different in nature, so I didn't do them all at the same time...
Anyway, I have a pair of Bauer Rollerblades for sale.
I bought them whilst at Uni for £135 and I used them all the time for about 6 months. I even went to lectures in them, which I appreciate
doesn't sound that crazy, but I was on the 3rd floor without lifts
The FX4 were the best Bauer ones you could buy at the time, mainly that was only down to the fact that they were velcro and the others were laces! The
ironic thing is that the laces seemed to offer more support higher up... That's why I ended up paying another £15 for the "Lazzy
Legs" supporting straps...
Anyway, I bought these and a Street hockey stick and a few of us used to sneak into the basketball court and have a laugh on these...
I replaced the bearings at some point for better ones too.
Anyway (I know, I've said that at least 600 times), as I said I bought them whilst at Uni, which was 472 years ago now, so they aren't in
the best knick anymore, so I thought I'd stick them on here thinking someone mught want to buy a quirky or retro gift for a son/daughter...
I have tiny feet, hence the size 7's but these were a little tight, cos although I'm only a 7, I think my feet are normal (manly) width
, so a younger person who's a 7 or a female foot shape etc would be perfect. Because they are braced all the way up, a 6 would also be
fine.
They will come with the brake, which I took off straight away as it stops you doing stupid stuff on them, and they will also come with the
Rollerblades bag as per the last pic.
Will have to check cost for P+P or bring with me to Stoneleigh...
I'd like £30 for them please...
Thanks,
Steve
