From memory that's their own chassis, wrapped in the standard body with the extra sports pack wide arches (£350). They had one at the show but the join between the body and the arches didn't seem to have been done that well, there was a distinct bulge where they'd patched the two together.

Although it did well to turn the car from a smooth stylish racer into the sort of beast that would actually make you feel nervous if you saw it in your rear view mirror!

I saw the black model at the show too. The proportions were really nice (to my eyes) and it looks more threatening and modern than the original Phoenix.
Finish wasn't perfect, but black is always difficult and I suspect it is a race-car so getting the bodywork perfect would be a bit of a waste of effort.

Prices look very reasonable, thanks for posting up the brochure.

Matt

Hi,

Think Im probably beeing thick but how do you mount the wide artch kit? looks like you would need to cut the body work up alot.

I asked Rob for some pictures of the wide arch kit, he's sent me some very nice pictures;

I think for £350 it does have a decent effect on the bodywork. I particularly like the side skirts and the rear arches.

(Yes you probably did, I hadn't intended to post big pictures and had to delete and rewrite the post to use the thumbnail thingies )

The arch kit was bonded on to the original body work, he did say the original body would have the wheel arches trimmed to accommodate the wider track. Although it does look like the area around the headlights is redesigned, the images of the black car for example show no indicator 'holes'.

Overall I do expect the price point to leave more of a 'DIY' approach rather than a simple bolt on. But that seemed to be the plan, keep the price low but leave the mounting method up to the builder.

Nothing new I'm afraid, although his email address is somewhere on here. It's from last year though.
