Sierra steering column

At the bottom of the column, there is the bush with the triangular hole. Which way round does it go, and which side is the spring clip.

My Sierra manual does not explain, and it is ages since I took one apart!!!

On the Tiger - the plastic bush goes with the lip towards steering wheel end, the spring clip goes between the bush and the bottom of the outer column, to stop the bush sliding up towards the steering wheel - if that makes sense!
