MK 2 escort steering question

I have tried to get a couple of inner tie rods for my locost with escort MK2 front end but have not been able to. I am now told that this was always the case and the rack was sold as a unit only. Tried a few suppliers like D&A and Dingbro and they say the same.

Can anyone tell me if there is anywhere that I can just order the inner tie rods please.

If I order a rack then it's a costly affair and most want the old rack or the price is even higher.

I thought about using the Cortina tie rods that Scootz kindly sent me but the tie rods for these when you get them are shorter as is the tie rod end slightly so I can't get the length I need to get them to fit DILEMA!

Losing the plot right now

I just ordered a mk2 rack 2.9 ratio for £88 delivered from Rally Design.
No idea where to get a spare.
There is a cheaper place if you google mk2 steering rack, think the're under £50 but want the old one as an exchange.

I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered.
