Diff ratio for 2.0 duratec

What diff ratio are people using for their duratec conversions? I have a 4.4 lsd subaru diff left from a previous striker build and just wondering if its suitable!. Planning on around 200bhp if that makes any difference.

What gearbox? Also depends what wheels/tyres you are using? With type 9 standard ish ratios and 13" wheels, I've got a 3.9 LSD but a 4.1 or 4.4 would of been a bit better.

What rev limit?
With a 4.4 you will need a long first and second or you will run out of revs quickly
Use a gear ratio calculator to get a good idea of speed in gear.
Something around 40/45 in first over 60 second 90+ third should be nice on the road
You may want a longer 5th for cruising

Yeah sorry that was a long first gear... To us working it out meant 5th would never be used. However that is for racing where it'll always be around 7k rpm

Some good points there. It was intended to be used with a 4age which I guess would rev a bit more. Need to do a bit more research into duratec specs before ordering chassis I think.
