Hymer A class motorhome for sale

Hi guys,

Not exactly locost! But my late fathers motorhome is for sale, he bought it new from Brownhills in Sep 2007.

I will try to get pictures up shortly... It's an A class Hymer exsis 522 motorhome, 3 berth with rear fixed bed.. Really best suited for a couple, it has the 2.2 Ford engine which makes for a very lively drive.

Has 16k miles, I will put a years MOT on it.

From what I can gather by looking online £30k should be a very keen price for it.

I'll continue to research the market, it's a genuine motorhome that's has been very well looked after.

Mark

Damn you!!!

Just what I am looking for, except I am definately in the Locost Budget range. Knock a Zero off and I would be right over.
I have been looking for some months, and they are either nice, and rather expensive, or crappy and cheap, or both with intergalactic mileage on them.

Oh well... at least its sunny... But I should be out in a motorhome

2. Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.

Best Regards

ha - glad it cheered ! your day up..

you are right though, motorhomes are a decent lump of $ tied up....

not that I'm trying to sell it or anything !! but you can personal finance them over 10 years, they depreciate VERY slowly - especially decent ones like Hymer, and they cost very little to run/maintain.

sales mode off :-)

If this had been for sale 2 weeks ago I would have known of someone very interested. My folks put a deposit down on a Hymer very similar to that 2 weeks ago and picked it up on Tuesday. They seem to be over the moon with it

Good luck with the sale anyway.

Sods law mate.

If you don't mind, pm me what sort if money your parents paid, and whether it was private or dealer etc?

I can only find same model in dealer, 2008 with 10k miles for £38k....

I think 30k should be very reasonable, I just want a fair price for my mum... But am also keen to sell as it's sitting in my house!
