High Wycombe - BUCKS - Builders advice
HI All,
I'm looking a car at a dealer in High Wycombe, but i'm a very nervous buyer.
daoes anyone know or have heard of Platinum Autos?
seem to have a lot of nice cars (I'm looking at a mini cooper S)
but i want to know if this is a known dealer
(I suffer with anxeity disorder since recovering)

Not sure about the dealer.. but check the Back Box is in good shape, they are pricey to replace.. Ask me how i know? I run a Cooper S.

Check the book price
Check service history
Have a good look round
Take a knowledgable mate
There's not a lot else you can do
I eat to survive
I drink to forget
I breath to pi55 my ex wife off (and now my ex partner)

Looking at there website and the type of cars there selling they look ok ! but thats only my opinion.....

Depending on how much it costs might be worth having an RAC inspection done.
Not cheap but IIRC they offer a (limited) guarantee. Had one done some years ago and was impressed by the thoroughness of the guy who did it.
In fact he identified an oil leak from the front crankshaft oil seal which I'd missed by not getting underneath to check!
