I'm gona try and make one over the next few weeks for the PCV

all you need is a micro switch(prolly from maplins) to control when to activate the cut in the PC

there are a few threads about it on the interweb

Other option is this

The DIY is not much cheaper but by the time you buy the cable adaptor:

And found a switch...

And then put it all together and got it working properly...

It's probably easier to get the real thing (or on this case a copy)

Don't you need the ignition module to use the quick shifter on the pc3?

My zx12 doesn't need it

On motorcycles that have eight injectors and were not previously able to benefit from the use of the Dynojet Quick Shifter, the Ignition Module now allows this functionality. The Dynojet Quick Shifter is connected to the expansion port between the Ignition Module and the PCIIIusb.

Does that mean that one of these will work on my 2006 R1 5vy? i have a PC3 fitted, and running, and i was given a quick shifter module a couple of years ago, but never fitted it because i presumed i needed the ignition module to make it work?

I think so. Might be worth a quick google but its only going to have 4 injectors like mine.

That's got to be worth a try. You can get switches in your local maplin for a few quid and he's not even used the proper connector. All I need is to finish rewiring my car and fit the sump and the interior.. And tax and insure it then I can try it out!
