Electric water pump!?

Hey guys,

I'm trying to find a way of properly mounting my Davies Craig water pump onto the Mk. Anybody here got any pictures of their build? Or know of a pre-made kit for these pumps?

Was going to make a bracket to suit the 4 bolts that hold the pump together, wasn't sure if this was a good idea?

Cheers

Clive.

HI,

Mate of mine has a supercharged MGB & after fitting the hoses the pump was pretty secure so he adjusted the hose fit till the pump was just touching the S/C & then cable tied it to the S/C. He has done 4 track days & plenty of road miles with it like that & all is still fine.

All the best, Brian.

I would mybe look at a bracket that holds the ends of the pipe, with rubber p clips perhaps.
Wouldn't use the screws that hold the pump together personally

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Mine was missing the original fittings (EWP) , so I made small L shaped brackets and drilled them, then slipped M6 setcrews into the plastic channels, the heads just fit nice and snug.
