Quaife Type 9

type 9 gearbox with Quaife gearset ( which was already fitted in the car when i bought it some months ago ). Box is fine but thinking of taking the opportunity whilst the car is undergoing major mods to swap in out for a helical unit ( wife hates the noise - pity because i think it sounds great and the ratios are spot on)
the car itself was reg on an 05 plate and has covered 7k miles, to be frank not sure if the Quaife was in it from the start or an add on........

anyway it's located North Kent, 20 mins from the DFord Crossing.

looking for £750

Ratios are i believe 2.39/1.54/1.21/1.1 /.87

Damn, if this had come up a month earlier I'd have bitten your fingers off! Instead I ended up paying £200 on top of that price for an almost identical box, and then a bit more getting it shipped to me.

Bargain for someone, good luck with the sale!

the input shaft is the one that allows it to mate 'normally' to a zetec, i'd have to look up what that means - i believe that means its a short shaft.
as for HD bearings - i don;'t believe so , no.
