Should I use book chassis ?

Finally decided to make a start now i`ve got me garage,I want to use granada V6 mainly cos theyre cheap is the book chassis ok for this ? also which gearbox should i go for(I dont mind having an auto)

You prolly should.

Sure someone will have used one, undoubtedly with a type 9.
