iPhone backup missing? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi all,

I've got a bit of a problem, I backed up my iPhone 4s this morning ready for my replacement phone coming, after dropping mine.

After this, I deleted several apps and info(facebook, email accounts, twitter, etc...) off of my phone ready for it going.

The replacement hasn't arrived, and is going to be redelivered on Friday, so I thought I'd reload the backup from this morning, to put all my info back on for the time being.

I plugged the phone into my PC, and it automatically started to backup the phone again, I cancelled this, and selected to restore backup.

When I went into the list of backups, to do this, it only listed the backup that i had cancelled a few minutes earlier, and then the next 1 on the list was from January!!

There was no sign of my backup form this morning.

Is there anyway of recovering this mornings backup?

Cheers Frank.

Can you find the back up folders in the PC and try to find the earlier info? Perhaps in a temp file?

I've looked on the PC, but all I can find are the backups that are already shown in the iTunes list.

Go into App Store > Updates > Purchsed to get your apps back.

Looks like you might have screwed up your backup file by syncing the emptied phone back over it.

Agree, you should have gone to general, reset and erase all content and settings before connecting to iTunes and done a restore from backup.

Don't know if you will be able to get back previous backup.

But you can restore purchases from App Store. You will just have to put in log in details for Facebook etc.

Andy.

Thanks for the replies, I've now resigned myself to reinstalling the apps, etc...
I'll just leave it now, until my new phone turns up.
