go on ebay type in aluminium sheet then find one that says in the description they offer different thicknesses and that they offer cutting. measure up exactly what you need, email them it and they will get back to you with a price. i done this for 2 pieces i needed as i already had loads of big sheets of aluminium i cut most of them myself.

If in doubt, give it a clout

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Could I ask how much was postage to Brum, as that's one thing that puts me off internet metal purchases.

I got a 2x1m sheet from a local fabrication company. A few years ago mind, but £40 for the sheet. Cut it to shape using snips and nibblers to to the rear bulk head, tunnel top/sides, under dash fuse panel, front bulkhead, foot well tops and various brackets and things.

It was worth building the relationship as I ended up getting other odds of metal and bits of welding done as well. helped that the owner was a car nut and keen to see the end result
