New record for Red Victor 6.509 @ 226.91mph

Watched as Andy Frost broke the record yesterday for the fastest street car in Red Victor 3...

Serious stuff!

I bet his MOT tester is a bit nervous about all the publicity!

Totally bonkers though

Yep, totally street legal. Always raced in street trim too. Only difference is the fuel, methanol for the strip and v-power for the road

http://www.redvictor1racing.co.uk/

To run in street classes they have to prove they are useable too. They go on a 30 mile drive, fuel up and do unassited hot starts to prove it. Aside from that Andy really does use it

Awesome. I just read on this website

"Frost campaigns the car in the MSA/FIA European Pro Mod Championship in Europe, and has hinted at a visit to United States in 2014 to tackle the Hot Rod Drag Week crown."

Would love to see it take part in drag week

Amazing, I do remember seeing him take a BBC 'Look East' presenter for a ride around Kettering or some where where he lives a couple of years ago. Quite nippy at the traffic lights!!

Phoned the local ramblers club today, but the bloke who answered just
went on and on.

Just out of interest....why would it have 2 different number plates on the 2 different websites?

It would seem that he as acquired a personalised plate for it as the one on his official website is AVX 490K as the car is a Vauxhall VX4/90

I live not too far from him. Beat him off the lights and few times. (hahaha). I've never seen it out and about, but seen it on tv documentaries a few times. Great achievement!
