2.0 Blacktop Locost Almost Complete Project For Sale

We started this project with the very best intentions of going racing, but with job changes and other unforseen issues, we are having to sell.

We have pretty much everything needed to build a working car, with a few trick parts.

Stuart Taylor Chassis (2x minor repairs, done properly with sleeve inserts); all painted and treated. Has been jigged and proven to be straight and true.

2 sets of front wishbones (1 standard, 1 race). Brackets need to be welded on (these are included)

Full set up at the rear (trailling arms) – no issues

Full set of stainless steel nuts, bolts and washers for the suspension arms

Steering rack + column

Front hubs

Rear axle (with brake disc conversion kit; no discs or callipers)

Full set of body mouldings, unpainted. We have double of some of the panels)

Aluminium side panels with folded edges

Type 9 with hydraulics clutch conversion and shifter relocation kit (moves the gear leaver back to a much more natural place for the driver

Pedal box

Brake bias bar

2x Brake master cylinders (and possibly one for the clutch)

Fuel tank - TIG welded and pressure tested

Fuel line + fuel filter

Stainless steel Fuel swirl pot

Brake line (including braided hoses and pressure switch for lights)

Handbrake + cables

2.0 Zetec Blacktop – reconditioned bottom end: new shells and ARP strengthened big end bolts, new piston rings, new oil seals, new gaskets. Head needs rebuilding but no known issues with it.

Shortened sump

Fabricated Engine Mounts

Ford ST inlet manifold for use with...

... GSXR Throttle bodies (includes silicone hose connectors)

Exhaust back box

Odds and ends – dash board dials, various warning lights, some tail lights, spot head lights, wiring, loads of nuts and bolts

Most things are photographed in the album linked below. Everything in the photos is included pretty much (except the engine crane!)
