Just been on a taster session at Snetterton...

in a nutshell - I loved it!

a couple of videos taken using a bullet cam on the roll bar

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=McTbgKawKrI (ok, I had a spin out at around 2 mins in and forgot to dip the clutch!)

There were only three of us booked in to the taster session so I pretty much had the track to myself which was great for my first time out.

I can now see why this gets addictive! I'm currently trying to justify to my other half that trackdays make you a safer driver so I therefore need to do them for safety reasons....

Might be worth looking up Heel & Toe, would make the experience much smoother

I didn't see a Jag on the track, the session I attended was on thursday evening.

Cheers for the tip on heel and toe, its not something I've tried before so will look into it

Try and get some instruction next time you book a trackday. Not only will he/she show you the correct lines he'll be able to help with technique as well (how to brake, how to change gear, steering and so on). You are doing classic 'road driver' things at the moment so you'd find lots of time (and enjoyment) from several session with an instructor.
