Hi all ! Just wondering if anybody can let me know where i can find some pictures of exhaust mountings ? The manifold goes over the top of the chassis rail. Cheers !

I have bolted a strip of 4mm flat bar across the bottom of my chassis - half the width it sticks out beyond the side by about 150mm on top of this is mounted a rubber bobbin which the silencer bolts too.

Originally just had it bolted to outer bottom chassis rail but it wasn't strong enough.

I am just outside York on the 1079.

hi ! That sounds good to me . Also where the manifold crosses the chassis rail is that just freestanding with nothing but fresh air round it ? I've looked on your photo archive and it looks like to me. But i may be wrong.cheers

Yep the exhaust is supported by the manifold bolts.

Thanks for the pictures ! And from what i can see the exhaust manifold is attached to the engine and the rest of the exhaust is supported by a bracket near the silencer .is that correct or have i missed something ?
