GBS do one. I'm not sure I like the way they locate the diff though!

Phil @ Talon has more or less completed a Haynes variation using MX5 bits.

In what respect? An MX5 donor doesn't change the IVA and registration process.

Would it need an iva?

Yes it would, the same way a escort/sierra based 7 would.

Does anyone no if aries motorsport are still on the go with a mx5 based car. As I preffer the traditional 7 design.
MNR is nice but not keen on the scuttle as you seem to have a small windscreen and the westfield and sr2 seem t be a bit more expensive.

Only rebodied cars like the mx250 do not need an iva but they don't look anything like a 7!

The Haynes Roadster is a traditional 7 style car and very easy to use MX5 parts for. If you hang round the Haynes forum to see whats going on.
