black top head on silvertop block
Hi can anyone tell me if a 2ltr Blacktop head will fit onto a 2ltr silvertop bottom end.

short answer is no.
Less weight more speed, more power more speed
If in doubt, give it a clout

slightly longer answer is yes but it requires a few modifications, i believe the belt tensioner has to be made out a blacktop one and a silvertop one
combined together but i couldn't tell you how, if you google it i know it has been covered on other ford forums
