DVLA

Hi once IVA passed what forms do I need to send to DVLA to get car reistered and logbook issued, do the DVLA still come out to examine car now all local offices have closed?

The forms aren't downloadable, you have to order the forms through the DVLA website which take around 5-7 days to arrive!

From my understanding the DVLA can still do an inspection however it's generally not nessecary and just spot checks are now done I believe, however I have just posted my forms and I'm sat here fingers crossed I'm not an unlucky one and have to have the inspection

The Inspection is the most simple of things
They just look at VIN plates for correct numbers and position
Some stare at the engine but most have no clue
Very different the IVA and VOSA staff who know what car the parts we use come from
