best brakes for capri uprights without spending a fortune.

Looking at brake options for the striker. (Wilwood 2x m/cyl bias bar set up if it makes a difference)
Original plan was new m16s on dolid discs with mintex pads. Should be way under £200 all in.
However ive never been affraid of spending a little more. The only requirement is i want them new, for registration purposes, but it would be good to use items that wont mean a fortune when it comes to refreshing pads and or discs a year or 2 later. Which I think might rule out wilwoods or hispecs?

I didn't think wilwood pads and discs were too expensive to replace? it's about 40-50 for pads?

How often do you plan on driving it?
