shifter cable

Being a novice at building BECs what cable do you use for the duties of changing gear, I was looking at boat steering cables this morning, they do look man enough for the Job, I am not being fancy, no paddle shift, just a Pushmepullyou for changing duties

This company supply cables for paddle shifts, they are quite cheap aswell.

Tried a couple of cables and settled on rods easy and good and cheap
