Kitfest 2014 at Castle Coombe - Cancelled

Link to Castle Coombe announcement

It seems that not enough uptake from manufacturers has meant that they have decided to cancel the event for this year. I think it is a shame, as the combination of a show and a track could have been a winner. I have to say that I think that it was terribly marketed by the organisers, with inconsistent messages and a lot of hearsay on forums rather than the organisers actually giving out useful information early on.... Fingers crossed they try again next year and publicise it a little better.

Do you remember the old Kit Car Live circa 2005? What a cracking day out.

Surely there has to be a place for a show / track experience / track day weekend?

Like you said, organisation and marketing, something most kit related people are devoid of

Like "Total Kit Car Live" run last year at Blyton and due to happen this year at Brands?

Have to agree the kitfest sounded good format info on tickets/pricing were confusing. I think the advanced booking if you wanted to take your kit in put a lot off.

Totally missed last years.

Do you think the late November 15th date will put people off?

Have no fear! Stuart Mills seems to be organising something else. Updates on Pistonheads.
