Mysterious hole in Pinto block, help!
Hello all,
Can anyone tell me what this hole is on the bottom of the engine block, towards the back, under the exhaust manifold? The engine is a 2l Pi to.
Thanks
Duncan

Dipstick tube? End normally has a rubber pipe that the dipstick sits in it.

The dipstick is on the inlet side of the engine.
The bit in question is the turbo oil drain back to the sump just make sure you blank it off if its open.

As above - a drain back - would usually have a blanking plug in it as a standard engine.
