OT: Has anyone used Valspar paint from B&Q?
Just fitted a new bathroom and I have replastered the walls etc. I have put on a couple os base coats of trade matt white and I am now looking for a
top coat. I was in B&Q and spent some time looking at there Valspar paints.
Anyone used them? Opinions?

We used a girlie pink valspar premium prime and paint in our daughters bedroom .
Went on and covered well over magnolia but the walls had a lot of repairs and it covered the lot, good paint I thought. Not a painter and decorator
though.

Yup done two rooms, three different colours. Coverage isn't as much as described but it's good stuff. Better than the Dulux and Crown IMO.

Ditto - colour match was good. And mixed to order which seems quite decadent.

Isn't it just an old name resurrected under the B&Q brand, a bit like 'Cooke & Lewis'? Small print on the tin says
B&Q.
Not saying that it isn't good paint though, haven't used it yet.

Did my lounge in it just before Xmas. Premium Satin. Covered well and didn't drip so I'm happy with it.

Don't waste money buying DIY paint from B and Q simply go to the Dulux trade depot and get paint there.
The products are night and day. Glide trade white @14 Quid will cover BARBIE pink in one coat.
