ETB Dash Gear Indicator playing up

just a quick one, on my last outing I noticed my gear indicator on my digidash has started playing up and looks like it is getting confused.

Can anyone advise where to start looking to diagnose the problem

Cheers

Raj

Kind regards

IIRC its linked to revs and speed and uses the two to calculate gear, if you have changed anything (gear ratios, speed sensor etc) then this may be cause.

If you haven't changed anything, look for an earth failing. I had several issues with my Digidash regarding revs and selected gear and it was all down to earth wires.

Normally a speed sensor problem, maybe the positioning of it has moved or you've lost a magnet.

Check the ETB indicated road speed against a GPS on a phone or similar ?
