Most bike engines require sump/baffle plate/dry sump systems so I would guess it will need something!

Have you asked MK?

Only MK I've seen with the big bang R1 is on YouTube, the air box sticks up out of the bonnet like a block of council flats!!!

Be good to see pics of your build, as it's not a common engine to use.

Big bang is partially baffled, Malc at Yorkshire engines reckons no baffle is required but I'd be looking at belts and braces myself,

The engines sound incredible and If you're not chasing lap times in a race r or the like then the little dip in power shouldn't matter,

There's a fella putting a crossplane engine into a mini on this forum, Cant remember his name but a search may turn up so helpful info for you!

It does sound Gd only got exhaust still to sort out but Iv managed to give it a wee run to see how it's going and performance wise it's feeling way more powerful compared to the 918cc fireblade that was removed

Your brave giving it that much throttle on a wet road!!!

What top speed will you hit with a 3.92?
just changed mine to a 3.38 as my 3.62 was making mine horrible to drive at 60 - 70mph due to the high revs, topped out at 120 mph.

Well mine was redlining at 104 with the blade engine but should be more like 125mph now with me extra 2500rpm
