It is hard to believe. 188 mph from a 1.6 engine with no aerodynamic aids?

It has nice headlights!
I would have thought that video was good for a nicking, unless you can show it to be on the Isle of Man! I certainly wouldn't post anything like
that, begging for it!

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator
headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names
furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours.

Totally misleading news item, as I was expecting a 2000bhp monster not a few round bars welded together and a mazda 1.6 engine
and a weight of 485 kgs ? not exactly light, compared to some cars
Thats was probably spelt wrong, or had some grammer, that the "grammer police have to have a moan at

"Supercharged"... Looks like a turbo to me!
Doesn't look like its had an iva? That front would surely fail

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Looks like a tidy build, just needs clothing to finish it.
Performance is 'optimistic', although not on this planet!

If it was correctly IVA'd then I would guess it had bodywork on then.
Re the reporting, well it is from the Daily Mail - the Furore has been in there more than once & I don't think they've ever got much
right in the way of facts other than my name!
0 - 60 in 2.1 secs? I can only say the tyres must be made of glue! which is going to hamper the top speed a little - 192mph, more like around 130 I
would think, it has the aerodynamics of a flying brick!
It does however look as though it's been very nicely prepared & put together & all kudos to the owner for that, I can assure you having
been in the same position he has NO control over what the Daily Mail write whatsoever - the Mail won't even have been to see him or even have
spoken to him, the report will have been done by a local journalist who will have sold the basic story to the Mail, they will then construct whatever
garbage suits them around it, I don't suppose the owner ever said it was more powerful than a Veyron or that it would do 192mph, he may
have said it had a better power to weight ratio & a theoretical top speed of 192, but that is quite different!
I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator

True- newspapers are never very good at getting facts right.
Still can't work out how £75k. Really struggling.
And the only way that'll go over 130mph is if you pushed it off the back of a Hercules.....
Needs some bodywork.
Reminds me of this:

A lot of those parts are nicely polished and pretty. Relatively easy to blow cash on pretty, pointless add ons to make you smile. Still don't
see how you could hit 75k, even with a sequential box, custom diff and fully forged engine and mapping I'd be amazed if you passed 25k

Hello claire, hand healed and fully working?
Are you able to ping the builder, wed all like to know more about the build, costs, performance etc so he can join here and put the doubters (inc me)
straight or point to a blog.
It is a tidy and impressive build but 75 k?
Dont see any number plate but videos on public road seems a bit naughty.
