Hillman imp gearbox
A long shot I know but do any of you have/know of a STRAIGHT CUT imp gearbox for sale?
A friend of mine has bought a clan crusader, one of few Motorsport spec cars apparently. It did have a ZZR1400 engine but is being converted back to
the climax lump. It will be used for hill climbs and sprints.
He has an engine, just needs a straight cut box to get it going now. He will pay well for the correct box.
Any help or links are much appreciated.

You stand a better chance scoring hens teeth mate!...Even during the day straight cut Imp boxes were rare and commanded serious money. I remember Andy
Dawson mentioning them and he was the Imp man....Good luck.

Yes, I feared that was the case. Still, no harm in asking. He's found someone that will build him one but it was some daft amount of money.
