FS: Harrison L5 9" lathe

Thinking of letting go of my Harrison L5 if anyone is interested.

It came out of Durham 6th form college. Its an imperial machine and had a 400v 3 phase motor. I replaced that with a 3hp 240v motor and it runs off a 3 pin plug ok.

It has a coolant tank and pump but Ive never used it. Comes with a few tools for basic turning.

£750 anyone?

Just like mine, a thing of beauty and capable of turning out work to tight tolerances

Good luck, it's a bargain in the right hands?

I have an L5 i love it so much i shipped it to America when i moved. they are fantastic machines and very very accurate. be warned they are a very heavy you can pick them up with a good engine crane but its a bit hairy. when i shipped mine the movers had to bring two 7.5T moving vans one for the lathe and one for the mill as the two of them combined were too heavy for a single vehicle.
