what type of steel?

Help

Can i use 25x25mm 16swg ERW for the chassis as i have been told RHS is not made in that size in 16swg?

Is £11-20 plus VAT ok for a 6mt length?

This was quoted on a total of 72mt

spot on, ERW is what nearly everyone uses. Price is ok considering recent price rises.

RHS stands for Rectangular Hollow Section. Just in this case the sides are equal length.

As you say, steel stockholders are strange people

As for prices, I'm a bit out of touch (had mine 2.5yrs) but I had about 60 metres and an 8x4 sheet cold rolled 16swg mild for £110 delivered.

Thanks Joel

By the way it was me that emailed you about the chassis plans for the sierra, just picked up a 1.8 LX K reg (92) to night.

Can rear discs be put on or will it need an axle swap?
