OT - getting from Dunstable to central London
Yes, it's definitely not car related! We're visiting London soon, and will have the car. We're staying in Dunstable. Google
isn't helping much. What's the best way in? Drive to Luton and train in, or is there a better choice of station?
Cheers!

Luton would be my choice, its what I used to do when I was working, used to meet up with a colleague who lives there, its about 40 mins iirc.

Probably best to get the bus way from Dunstable to Luton station it'll miss a lot of the traffic.
Phoned the local ramblers club today, but the bloke who answered just
went on and on.

Dunstable has a new bus system that takes you directly to parkway, Luton.
Only drive as fast as your angel can fly... !

I'd drive to Leighton Buzzard and get the train from there, cheaper tickets IIRC, and you end up at Euston rather than St Pancras which IMO is
far more convenient and less busy.

If you're travelling on the weekend, look out for engineering work and subsequent bus transport for part of the journey.

Cheers guys. Just got home. We tried a few approaches in the end! Not much in it. Driving to zone 6 was a bit cheaper, but Luton a much shorter drive
back. Next time I'll just stay central and leave the car at home!
